Operative from 1 January 2026

  • Annual subscription (UK) : £60
  • Annual subscription (non-UK) : £70
  • Full-time students : £30
  • Life membership (for those over 60) : £500
  • Institutional rates are the same as individual: £60 (UK) and £70 (non-UK)

Overseas subscriptions are collected in your local currency at the current rate of exchange.

Once you have established your account on the Members’ Portal, you can return there at any time to update your address, renew your membership, and customize how the Society communicates with you.

To make a payment

  1. Log in to the Members’ Portal
  2. Click on your name in the top right-hand corner of the screen
  3. Select ‘Settings’ from the drop down menu which appears.
  4. On the left-hand side of the screen you will see a navigation area with headings: ‘Login & Security’, ‘Emails’, ‘Privacy’, ‘Financial’, and ‘Membership’.
  5. Click on ‘Membership’.
  6. You will see your type of membership and membership status; if your membership has expired, you will see a button on the right labelled ‘Pay Membership’.
  7. Click on ‘Pay Membership’.
  8. Choose your payment option and click ‘Go to payment’.
