Membership of the Society is available to anyone who is interested upon completion of your online application.
To join The Bibliographical Society, we invite you to complete the application process on our Members’ Portal. There, you’ll be able to set up your account with the Society, manage how we communicate with you, and access other features as we extend the Portal in the future.
Benefits of membership include the Society’s quarterly journal The Library, a copy of each work published by the Society, and involvement with other Society activities. Full details are on our Benefits of Membership page.
An annual subscription costs £60 (outside the UK, £70). There is a reduced rate of £30 for full-time students. Life membership is available for those over 60 at a cost of £500. Institutional rates are the same as individual: £60 inside the UK and £70 outside. Overseas subscriptions are collected in your local currency at the current rate of exchange.
Once you have established your account on the Members’ Portal, you can return there at any time to update your address, renew your membership, and customize how the Society communicates with you.
