The Ligatus Summer School is being held this year in the Maurits Sabbe Bibliotheek of the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies in KU Leuven. The courses will be run over two weeks, from 26-30 August and 2-6 September (Week 1 (26 – 30 August): European Bookbinding 1450-1830, Week 2A (2 – 4 September): Eastern Mediterranean Bookbinding Structures, Week 2B (4 – 6 September): Linked Data for bookbinding description), and there are still a few places left. In addition to exploring books from the rich collections of the Maurits Sabbe Bibliotheek, there will be visits in Week 1 and Week 2A to look at books in the Koninklijke Bibliotheek in Brussels.
