From time to time the Society awards a Gold Medal for distinguished services to bibliography. Over forty awards have been made since the first in 1929.
We are delighted that the recipient this year is Professor Peter Blayney, the world’s leading authority on printing and the book trade in early-modern England.
Professor Blayney will receive the award at the Society’s meeting on Tuesday, 21 November 2023, at the Society of Antiquaries.
